Celebration of Teaching 2024

The Faculty Academy for Excellence in Teaching (FACET) and the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL) hosted a Celebration of Teaching on October 4, 2024, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm in the Indiana Memorial Union Alumni Hall. This event showcased IUB’s commitment to student success and the evidence-based teaching that supports it. The day included poster sessions, ignite talks (5-minute poster-preview presentations), and a lunchtime panel of award-winning instructors.

9:00-9:30 — Coffee and Tea, rooms open (Solarium) 
9:30-10:30 — Opening and Ignite Round (Alumni Hall) 
10:30-11:45 — Poster Session 1 (Alumni Hall) 
12:00-1:30 — Lunch and panel of teaching award winners (Solarium) 
1:45-2:30 — Ignite Round 2 (Alumni Hall) 
2:30-4:00 — Poster Session 2 (Alumni Hall)
