Jasmin Yates is the Advocate for Community Engagement at SCCAP Head Start/Early Head Start. She brings a love for children, organizational skills, and strategic thinking to her role. From Indianapolis, this perspicacious student is majoring in Psychology in the College of Arts and sciences and minoring in Youth Development in the School of Public Health as part of the graduating class of 2019. Jasmin is also a Direct Support Profession with the Indiana Mentor Program, helping people with disabilities. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and enjoys serving the community through Tau Chapter on the IU campus. Jasmin enjoys watching crime documentaries, listening to music, traveling, and working with children.
