Contract Grading: A Better Way to Grade Whether F2F or Online

Friday, June 5, 2020 1 p.m. - 2 p.m., Online

With elements of labor-based, competency-based, and Specifications Grading (or Specs Grading) contract grading provides students with choice and control that boosts their motivation and sense of fairness. Contract grading makes grading easier for teachers whether in f2f or online classes. In this webinar we will create our own assessment bundles, design one dimension-based rubric, and get feedback on them. By the end of the session, we will be well on our way to a new, better grading scheme for a course we teach.
