For Graduate Students: Identity & Authority in the Classroom

One of the main challenges of teaching is to establish an identity as a teacher with healthy boundaries between your personal life and your professional obligations. By the end of this workshop, participants will learn concrete skills for demonstrating empathy while maintaining authority, learn to identify and set healthy boundaries, and learn to be mindful of different cultural perspectives and their effect on interpersonal boundaries and classroom etiquette.
