Registration open for FACET's Conference

The 24th annual Facet Associate Faculty and Lecturer Conference (FALCON) will take place on November 15-16, 2019, at the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis. IU Faculty are eligible for a reduced registration rate of $50. The theme is Maximizing Opportunity: Helping Students Where They Are. George Mehaffy, AASCU Vice President for Academic Leadership, will give the Robin Hass-Birky Keynote.

In this webinar for graduate students, we will share strategies to reflect on teaching as well as information about the qualities of effective statements of teaching philosophy. Participants read and analyze several statements and receive reflection guides for getting started on their own teaching statement.
