In this first installment of the Graduate student SoTL journal club, we will be discussing the impact of SoTL activity. Kern et al (2015) proposed a model of the Dimensions of Activities Related to Teaching (DART) that organizes activities involved in being a faculty member into 4 categories.

Unpacking & Acting on Course Evaluations

Friday, June 21, 2019 10:30 a.m. - 12 noon, Wells Library E243

Course evaluations are one of the hot topics we love to hate in academia. However, when approached from a scholarly perspective rather than an evaluative perspective, course evaluations are a rich source of data. In this workshop, faculty will apply data analysis approaches utilized in SoTL work to unpack the useful information in their own course evaluations.
